Welcome to B Street Florals & Photography

Welcome to B Street Florals & Photography. I’m Beverly Grant, and I’m passionate about capturing life’s dynamic moments for families, youth athletes, and communities throughout Athens, GA, and surrounding areas.

My photography is rooted in storytelling—capturing movement, emotion, and connection in a way that feels authentic and alive. Whether it’s parents playing with their children, athletes giving their all on the field, friends celebrating together, or pets caught mid-action, my goal is to create images that bring those moments back to life every time they’re viewed.

Youth sports photography holds a special place in my heart. There’s something truly powerful about documenting the focus, determination, and pure joy of young athletes as they grow and compete. I strive to reflect the unique spirit of every child and team, preserving moments that families and athletes will treasure for years to come.

In addition to photography, I also offer custom floral design, thoughtfully created to complement life’s celebrations and meaningful moments. Whether through images or florals, my work is centered on honoring connection, emotion, and story.

Thank you for being here—I would be honored to capture your moments, big and small, with the energy and care they deserve.

My Story

I was born in Athens and feel as though I was raised on campus. For those who knew Claude McBride, he was preaching Georgia football from the pulpit from the time I was two—so becoming a lifelong Dawg fan was inevitable. I graduated from the University of Georgia twice, earning a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and a Master’s degree in Rehabilitation Counseling.

For 27 years, I worked within the legal system, primarily as a counselor. The last fourteen of those years were spent in Athens working in the recovery community—an experience that taught me invaluable lessons about people, resilience, and connection. I retired from the state in 2021, and since 2020 I’ve continued serving as a mental health first responder.

Creativity and helping others were core values in my home growing up. My dad insisted they were essential ingredients for a healthy life, and those lessons have stayed with me. In 2021, a book study hosted by my friend Chanda and Divas Who Win sparked the courage and confidence for me to seriously pursue photography and floral design as a business—something I had been doing, in one form or another, for more than 20 years.

There has never been a time in my life when I didn’t love photography. My experiences as a counselor—and as an aunt—have deepened my appreciation for images that capture genuine emotion. I believe the most meaningful photographs are the ones where you can feel what was happening in that moment.
